Job Summary

Houston Methodist Cypress Hospital is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the operating room. Your expertise will be essential in supporting the surgeon and nursing staff during vaginal deliveries and surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare the operating room, equipment, and supplies for procedures.
  • Anticipate and respond to the needs of the surgeon and nursing staff.
  • Assist with surgical counts and maintain accurate records.
  • Provide mentoring and guidance to Surgical Tech positions.
  • Participate in quality improvement practices to ensure quality patient care.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent education.
  • Successful completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program or military training equivalency.
  • Two years of experience as a Surgical Technologist.
  • Certifications: BLS, CST, TS-C, or GRNDF.
