Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Business Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing front office duties, including greeting patients, answering phones, and processing insurance claims.

Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome patients to create a positive first impression
  • Manage front office duties, including answering phones and processing insurance claims
  • Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and records
  • Schedule and confirm appointments for multiple providers
  • File patient insurance claims and follow up on outstanding claims
  • Post insurance and patient payments and process accounts receivables
  • Review treatment plan fees and payment options with patients

Qualifications
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Minimum 1+ years of experience in a dental or medical setting
  • Preferred experience with insurance billing and accounts receivable
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
