Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to ensure optimal outcomes
- Develop and individualize care plans, revising as needed to address changing patient needs
- Execute physician orders, administer medications, and deliver culturally sensitive care
- Perform routine and complex technical procedures, prioritizing patient care activities
- Provide patient and family education, utilizing evidence-based resources and teaching strategies
- Coordinate and prioritize patient care activities, maintaining safety and continuity of care
- Participate in shared leadership, attending unit meetings and supporting the philosophy and goals of the unit and department
- Identify patient safety concerns, reporting and addressing them appropriately
- 2 years of clinical RN experience
- Competency in specialty area, as demonstrated through completion of required orientation and evaluation tools
- Ability to prioritize and organize work, completing assignments within specified time frames
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on healthy work environments
- Commitment to lifelong learning, with a focus on evidence-based practice and specialty certification
