Job Title: Senior Infusion Registered Nurse

As a Senior Infusion Registered Nurse at Providence, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in our infusion therapy department. With a strong focus on oncology and specialty diagnoses, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals who share your passion for providing exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer chemotherapy and other medications to patients with cancer and other specialty diagnoses
  • Monitor patients for side effects and provide education on infusion therapy and pain management
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Serve as a mentor and resource for junior nurses and other healthcare professionals
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest infusion therapy techniques and best practices
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or associate's degree in nursing with 4 years of experience as a registered nurse
  • Current Oregon registered nurse license or national registered nurse compact license
  • Basic life support certification - American Heart Association
  • Unencumbered registered nurse license in state(s) of hire
  • OCN (oncology nurse) certification or other national infusion certification
  • 3 years of infusion nursing experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2 years of ambulatory nursing experience
