As a seasoned Diesel Mechanic/Technician I at Penske Logistics, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the health and safety of our fleet. With a strong background in truck and trailer maintenance, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance services, repairing and troubleshooting major components, and ensuring that all vehicles are in top working condition.
Main Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair truck and trailer equipment with minimal supervision
- Perform preventative maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
- Repair and troubleshoot major components, such as engines, transmissions, and differentials
- Use Penske's tools and technologies to log, research, and complete repairs
- Learn new skills through Penske's technician training program

Qualifications:
- 6 years of practical experience with truck and tractor-trailer maintenance
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred

- Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred
