Early Childhood Educator

Brazoria County H.S. is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and implementing high-quality early education and child development services for Head Start children aged three to five years.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents.

• Plan and implement daily lesson plans that meet the needs of children and align with the Head Start Performance Standards.
• Provide responsive care and effective teaching practices to support children's well-being and prevent challenging behaviors.
• Assess children's developmental progress and adjust instruction to meet their individual needs.
• Communicate regularly with parents and colleagues to ensure a collaborative approach to supporting children's learning.
• Ensure the health and safety of children in accordance with all regulations.

• Associate degree in early childhood education or a related field.
• At least six months of experience working with preschool-aged children and supervising a group of 15-20 children.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
