Job Summary

Bryan Community Health Center is seeking a skilled Dentist to join our team. As a Dentist at our health center, you will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Examine patients, diagnose dental/oral conditions, and prescribe treatment in accordance with approved clinical protocols and guidelines.
  • Record patient-dentist transactions in the patient's dental record, ensuring accurate and complete documentation of care provided.
  • Educate patients on oral health-related conditions and promote disease prevention.
  • Supervise dental residents and students as needed.
  • Participate in the Dental Quality Improvement Program and other health center committees.
  • Assist in the provision of continuing education, on-the-job training, and staff orientation.
  • Travel as necessary to fulfill health center needs and attend meetings to represent the organization.
  • Maintain and update skills and knowledge through continuing education courses and materials.
  • Adhere to organizational standards and policies, including compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited dental school.
  • Current Ohio DEA registration.
  • Unrestricted license to practice dentistry in the State of Ohio.
  • CPR – BLS (basic life support) certification.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of public health principles and practices.
  • Ability to work with a culturally-diverse staff and patient population.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with health center management and medical staff members.
  • Ability to lift 20-50 pounds.
