Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fabrication Specialist to join our team at VetJobs in Independence, KS. As a Fabrication Specialist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating all production machines following written and verbal instructions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate production machines to perform direct functions of the department.
  • Inspect material upon selection and report any deviations from standard to Supervisor.
  • Closely adhere to company quality standards and follow safety regulations.
  • Maintain work area, equipment, and tools in clean and orderly condition.

Requirements:

  • Good working knowledge of production machines and their set up, maintenance, and safeguarding.
  • Ability to operate forklift and 7 1/2 ton overhead crane.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.
