Director of Rehab Job Description

Sigma Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Rehab to lead our rehabilitation department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operations of the Rehab Department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain systems that build and enhance the facility's reputation for being the unparalleled provider of rehab to the elderly.
  • Monitor financial performance of rehab department and effectively seek methods to improve this performance while ensuring that the facility's standards are consistently observed.
  • Contribute effectively to the census development/marketing efforts in coordination with the facility.
  • Contribute to professional development of self and facility's rehabilitation/therapy staff.
  • Aid in building and maintaining the facility's reputation as the unparalleled rehab provider of the elderly by contribution as a professional member of the staff.
  • Compliance with regulatory safety practices.
  • Provide patient care as appropriate and necessary, following the position description for the applicable clinical discipline in which licensure or certification is held.

Requirements:

  • Must possess and maintain a current license in the state of practice as required.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills as a DOR.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and positively with all Rehabilitation staff members and facility staff.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Min. have 1 years of DOR experience in SNF setting.
  • Active State License.
  • New Grad are okay.
  • SNF Experience preferred.
