Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of seafood associates, providing coaching, training, and feedback to ensure excellent customer service and sales results.
  • Develop and maintain a visually appealing and well-merchandised seafood department, including creating displays and promotions that drive sales and customer engagement.
  • Work closely with the team leader to achieve sales, purchasing, and labor targets, analyzing sales data and making recommendations to improve department performance.
  • Assist with ordering and inventory management, ensuring accurate inventory levels and minimizing waste.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to customer needs and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Stay up-to-date on seafood products, trends, and regulations, sharing knowledge with the team to ensure excellent product knowledge and customer service.
  • Collaborate with other departments to drive sales and customer engagement, including participating in store events and promotions.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • 18+ months retail team member experience and 6+ months of supervisory experience.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze sales data and make recommendations to improve department performance.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and driving sales growth.
  • Physical ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods, with the ability to work in a wet and cold environment.
