Job Title: Seasonal Sales Associate

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our sales team as a Seasonal Sales Associate. As a Seasonal Sales Associate, you will be responsible for promoting sales through suggestive selling, sharing product knowledge, and providing exceptional customer service. You will also assist in maintaining inventory stock levels, performing housekeeping duties, and executing all merchandising strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive sales in the store by following sales guidelines and procedures, including sampling and selling products with passion and enthusiasm, and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain product knowledge and stay abreast of changes in product assortment.
  • Assist in executing floor sets, pricing, signage, promotional activities, and other merchandising strategies according to company directives.
  • Participate in the management of stores inventory and expense items, including minimizing product waste.
  • Follow established policies, practices, and procedures, including quality, sanitation, and safety guidelines, and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Foster the brand image and reputation through impeccable personal presentation and attitude.
  • Ring customer transactions using the POS system, actively sell add-ons at the cash wrap, and execute the Preferred Customer Program.
  • Follow proper cash handling procedures.
  • Pursue Business to Business sales opportunities in the community according to established procedures.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Retail experience providing exceptional customer service and performing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have excellent communication skills, sales skills, and organizational skills.
  • Frequent walking, standing, bending, stooping, sitting, crawling, and lifting.
  • Ability to stand 8-10 hours per day.
  • Ability to lift, push or pull up to 30 pounds on a frequent basis.
  • May work in a cooler/freezer environment.
  • May be required to make bank deposits.
  • This position requires a background investigation.
What We Offer:

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $18.00 per hour, with the actual compensation determined by experience and other factors permitted by the law.

This is a temporary full-time position, approximately October 1 through January 5th.
