We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Security & Safety Officer to join our team at Marriott International Inc. As a key member of our Residences Concierge and Loss Prevention team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to guest requests for visitor information, special arrangements, or services, making arrangements or identifying appropriate providers as needed.
- Monitor Closed Circuit Televisions, perimeter alarm system, duress alarms, and fire life safety system to ensure the security of the property.
- Lock property entrances when required and serve as overnight Residences Concierge and Loss Prevention representative as needed.
- Maintain coverage of Concierge area by assisting with the breaks of the Concierge team and responding to special requests from guests with unique needs.
- Answer, record, and process all calls, messages, requests, questions, or concerns, contacting appropriate individuals or departments as necessary to resolve issues.
- Review and document all incidents in logbooks and report to the next shift, ensuring that all incidents are thoroughly investigated and documented.
- Escort any unwelcome persons from the property without interrupting the orderly flow of property operation and report to scenes of vehicle accidents/thefts.
- Call for assistance using proper code responses and perform Lobby Ambassador tasks as needed.
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- At least 1 year of related work experience.
- No supervisory experience required.
- License or certification not required.
