About the Job

We are seeking an experienced veterinarian who is passionate about surgery and committed to providing high-quality patient care. You will be responsible for performing physical examinations, diagnostic procedures, and medical treatments while maintaining excellent communication with clients.

Responsibilities
  • Build rapport with clients by gathering information and listening to their concerns
  • Perform physical examinations and diagnostic/medical/surgical/dental procedures that deliver the highest quality care while minimizing patient stress and discomfort
  • Communicate with clients on topics such as pet diagnosis, treatment plans, preventive health care, and nutritional needs
  • Maintain client/patient medical/surgical records and ensure all necessary logs are kept up-to-date through established protocols
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or related degree from an accredited university
  • Licensure in good standing to practice in the state where you are employed
  • Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding veterinary code of ethics
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with hospital team members
