Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery, equipment, and physical structures to ensure optimal performance and extend equipment lifespan.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Install, program, and repair automated machinery and equipment, including programmable controllers, pumps, separators, homogenizers, packaging machines, compressors, refrigeration systems, and other equipment as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and operations, including HVAC PMs and operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations and resolve equipment-related issues.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in maintenance and repair, applying knowledge to improve processes and efficiency.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; related experience or training in maintenance and repair preferred.
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Ability to read and interpret work orders, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
- Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, lifting, and climbing.
The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with regular exposure to moving mechanical equipment, high places, and varying temperatures. Hearing protection is required due to moderate noise levels. The workweek may vary, including Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays, with a specific weekday or rotating day off.
CompensationThe hourly rate for this position is $27.49-$30.49, reflecting one component of our total rewards package, which includes participation in group health and/or dental insurance, retirement plan, paid time away from work, and paid holidays.
