  • Risk Assessment: Analyze credit and financial information to assess the risk of loan applicants and ensure compliance with bank policies and regulations.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of loan processing activities, including documentation and communication with borrowers and lenders.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve issues that arise during the loan processing cycle, ensuring timely and efficient resolution.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to borrowers and lenders, ensuring a positive experience throughout the loan processing cycle.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as finance or business.
  • Experience: 6 years of experience in mortgage lending or a related field, with a strong background in loan processing and underwriting.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certifications: Registered with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry as a mortgage loan originator.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to lift 15 pounds at times.
  • Ability to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
