Our Medical Telemetry Unit is a resident physician designated teaching unit, providing ample learning opportunities for nurses. The unit is focused on providing direct and individualized care to patients with a wide range of medical conditions, including sepsis, chest pain, and gastrointestinal abnormalities. As a nurse on this unit, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in caring for complex patients.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. You will also be expected to maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must have a current and valid nursing license, BLS certification, and specialized knowledge in the field of nursing. Previous experience working in a telemetry setting is highly desirable but not essential.
