Required Qualifications:
  • Master's degree with a minimum of eighteen (18) graduate hours in English, Literature, Composition/Rhetoric, or a related field.
  • Seeking a dynamic educator with a proven track record in teaching, as demonstrated in the applicant's Student Success Statement.
  • The ideal candidate will effectively engage with community college students, promoting recruitment and retention, while supporting the overall departmental and college program.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to the discipline through active professional involvement.
  • Experience teaching at the community college or university level.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Preference for candidates with two (2) or more years of experience teaching at the community college level.
  • Preference for those who have taught dual credit courses or have experience in high school education.
  • Preference for candidates with experience in distance learning instruction.

Salary Grade: MAST

Salary is determined based on the Board-approved salary schedule for the current fiscal year.
