Job Title: Systems Engineer I

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer I to join our team at Niagara Bottling. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex engineering systems to support our logistics and distribution operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct time studies, perform zero-base analysis, rate analysis, network analysis, statistical analysis, flow path analysis, and supply chain analysis to identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Develop metrics for business units within Global Logistics to measure performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Identify logistics process improvement opportunities through competitive analysis and critical thinking.
  • Support and/or lead cross-functional strategic or process improvement projects to drive business results.
  • Develop business tools and solutions based on knowledge, product, or technology to support logistics and distribution operations.
  • Develop reports and run ad-hoc queries to provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Identify and develop business rules and standard operating procedures to streamline operating processes.
  • Develop and maintain cost estimates, forecasts, and cost models to support business decisions.
  • Provide facility and capacity planning analysis for distribution and transportation functions in Logistics.
  • Review and recommend system/software enhancements to support logistics and distribution operations.
  • Develop metrics and key performance indicators for assigned business units to measure performance and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or Logistics Engineering or a related discipline of engineering.
  • 0-2 years of experience in industry, advanced material handling solutions, and information technologies along with 1-3 lifecycle implementations of engineered automation systems with varied complexities.
  • Experience in project management and managing people/projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or Logistics Engineering or a related discipline of advanced engineering.
  • 2-5 years of experience in industry, advanced material handling solutions, and information technologies along with 3-5 lifecycle implementations of engineered automation systems with varied complexities.
  • Experience in simulation tools and modeling, foreign language, and elementary proficiency in AutoCAD.
