Position Information

The Surgical Technologist OR is an allied health professional who plays a crucial role in the team of medical practitioners providing surgical care to patients of all ages. This position requires a strong understanding of sterile and aseptic technique, human anatomy, and surgical procedures.

As a Surgical Technologist OR, you will work under the supervision of a surgeon or registered nurse to ensure a safe operating room environment, proper equipment function, and optimal patient safety during surgical procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Utilize expertise in sterile and aseptic technique to maintain a safe operating room environment
  • Assist surgeons and registered nurses during surgical procedures
  • Implement tools and technologies to facilitate physician performance of invasive therapeutic and diagnostic procedures
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
Requirements
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
  • Varied shifts available, including weekends and call requirements
