Key Responsibilities- Deliver professional nursing care to clinic patients, performing diagnostic testing and related clinical procedures as needed.
- Independently triage nursing situations in accordance with standing orders and protocols, addressing complex, urgent, or emergent situations as required.
- Administer patient medications per written provider order, track and log medication usage, and inventory controlled substances.
- Assist with point-of-care testing and lab tests following established protocols and instructions.
- Document procedures and interactions in patient electronic medical records, entering, pending, and signing orders as necessary.
- Prepare patients for practitioner visits, room patients, obtain and record vital signs, and ensure patient privacy and comfort.
- Organize exam rooms, including general cleaning, upkeep, and restocking of supplies, and prepare, clean, and sterilize instruments and maintain related equipment.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing approved by the Washington State Board of Nursing.
- One year of RN work experience in a clinic setting or two years of acute care RN work experience preferred.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Washington State Board of Nursing.
- Current Healthcare Provider BLS Certification.
