Position Overview

The Beatitudes Campus is seeking dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to provide essential support in our long-term care and memory care units. This role is crucial in ensuring our residents receive compassionate and attentive care.

Key Responsibilities

As a CNA, your primary duties will include:

  • Assisting residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Administering medications and treatments as directed by nursing staff.
  • Supporting residents during meal times, including serving food and assisting with feeding when necessary.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents, including changing bed linens and making beds.
  • Documenting resident care and reporting any changes in their condition to the nursing team.
  • Participating in recreational activities and social programs to enhance residents' quality of life.
Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited CNA training program.
  • Certification from the appropriate state nursing board.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse population.
Physical Requirements

This position requires:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
  • Good hearing and vision capabilities to ensure resident safety.
Work Environment
