As a **Supply Chain Specialist**, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our operations within the Agricultural sector. Your collaboration with various departments, including Operations, Product Management, and Supply Chain, will be essential to ensure the seamless flow of materials and products.

**Key Responsibilities Include:**

  • Overseeing the procurement of raw materials and supplies to align with production schedules while effectively managing inventory levels.
  • Monitoring daily metrics related to quality, quantity, and delivery timelines to adapt to any changes in production demands.
  • Facilitating communication with Production Managers and Engineers to ensure all operational requirements are met efficiently.
  • Maintaining comprehensive logistics records, including rail yard and inventory logs, to ensure accurate tracking of on-site resources.
  • Staying informed on regulatory compliance, including RCRA, FIFRA, DOT, and IATA, to uphold safety and legal standards.
  • Creating and updating essential documentation such as operating procedures, checklists, and schedules to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Conducting monthly inventory audits and reconciling discrepancies to maintain accurate records.
  • Utilizing SAP for posting Goods Receipt and Goods Issue to ensure precise inventory management.
  • Coordinating with Procurement to resolve vendor-related issues and ensuring timely delivery of materials.

**Qualifications:**

  • Hands-on experience in logistics, material planning, or production planning.
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience with a High School diploma or equivalent; or 2 years with a Bachelor's degree.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and capable of quickly learning new software applications.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen attention to detail.
