About the Role:
  • This full-time position offers a challenging and rewarding experience, working alongside a talented team of healthcare professionals who share a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
  • You will be responsible for assisting with all invasive cardiac, vascular, and interventional procedures, ensuring seamless communication among departmental staff, and providing effective hand-off communication using the SBAR process.
  • In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with patients, families, and other healthcare teams to deliver personalized care that meets the unique needs of each individual.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform various testing and therapeutic procedures, including cardiac catheterizations, coronary interventions, EP device and ablation therapies, and structural Heart (LAAC, TAVR) procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records, complete paperwork associated with procedures, and prepare tests for physician interpretation.
  • Demonstrate flexibility, organization, and effective problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments.

Requirements:
  • Currentrnursing licensernin good standingrn
  • Associate's Degree in nursing required, bachelor's preferred.
  • Two to three years of Cath Lab experience, with Emergency Room/ICU experience a plus.
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification.
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certified (ACLS).
