Pipefitting Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Pipefitter to join our team at A&M Warshaw Plumbing & Heating Inc. This role involves building and maintaining pipe systems in residential and commercial settings.

The estimated salary for this position is between $60,000 and $90,000 per year, depending on experience.

In this role, you will:

• Read and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements and plan installations
• Inspect and prepare sites for construction operations, ensuring they are safe and ready for work
• Measure, cut, weld, assemble, lubricate, and install pipes, using a variety of hand and power tools
• Test system functionality to ensure it meets specifications
• Repair any leaks or malfunctions, using troubleshooting skills to identify and fix issues
• Work with other construction professionals to complete projects efficiently and effectively

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Previous experience as a Pipefitter, with a strong understanding of pipe systems and installation methods
• S12 and S13 certifications, demonstrating your knowledge of safety procedures and regulations
• Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills, to accurately read blueprints and troubleshoot issues
• Attention to detail, to ensure high-quality work and minimal errors
• Knowledge of all relevant health and safety guidelines, to maintain a safe working environment
• Excellent communication skills, to work effectively with colleagues and clients
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including lifting heavy objects and working in challenging environments
