K.A. Recruiting is seeking a highly skilled Cytology Manager to lead our state-of-the-art laboratory in Northern Ohio. As a Cytology Manager, you will oversee a fast-paced and dynamic cytology department, ensuring the highest level of quality and efficiency in our diagnostic services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of cytotechnologists and support staff to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with laboratory directors and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration with other departments.
  • Monitor and analyze quality control metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cytology or a related field.
  • National certification as a Cytotechnologist (CT ASCP) and ThinPrep Certification preferred.
  • Minimum of four years of experience in cytology, with previous leadership experience strongly preferred.
