About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer to join our team at ApTask. As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and delivering high-quality software projects using Java, SQL/Oracle, J2EE, and other Java technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in detailed design, coding, code walkthroughs, peer code reviews, and unit testing, system testing, UAT, demos, POCs, installation, and maintenance of software modules.
  • Ensure the preparation of software prototypes, system architecture, software design documents, user interfaces, code files, code review artifacts, test plans, test cases, installation/deployment documents, release documents, and technical documentation.
  • Develop and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
  • Conduct system analysis, log analysis, and database query optimization.
  • Write test cases, unit testing, system testing, and negative testing.
  • Improve operations by conducting system analysis and updating job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment.
  • Protect operations by keeping information confidential and providing information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues.
Requirements
  • Computer Science Graduate with 2-4 years of experience in software development across a wide variety of development projects.
  • Knowledge of current technological trends in software development, such as OOPs, Multi-Tier Software development, Component Architecture, and Web-Based Software.
  • Ability to gather and analyze data and draw logical conclusions.
  • Proficiency in Java, JSP, Servlets, EJB, SQL/Oracle, J2EE, and other Java technologies.
  • Clear thinking, flexibility, adaptability to work schedules, effective verbal and written communication, time management, self-confidence, open to changes and challenges, eye for detail, perseverance, discreetness, and diplomacy.
