About the Job

Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team of healthcare professionals for a travel assignment in California.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and healthcare professionals, and to develop your skills and expertise in a new and challenging setting.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications as ordered with appropriate documentation
  • Monitor and evaluates patients before, during, and post procedure depending on unit
  • Communicates and collaborates with physicians and other health team members
  • Provides and coordinates patient care with other health team members
  • Shares on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time if required
  • Maintains cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies
  • Transports patients as needed
Requirements
  • One to three years experience as a Technologist preferred
  • Other certifications may be required for this position
  • Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
  • Ability to follow verbal instructions
  • PC skills
