Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Private Duty Nurse to join our team at Concierge Clinicians of Houston LLC. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will provide high-quality care to adult clients in their place of residence, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer care for adult clients of all ages in their place of residence
  • Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team, patient/family, and referring agency
  • Implement and document the plan of care to ensure quality and continuity of care
  • Provide care for all clients within scope
  • Report symptoms, reactions, and progress of patient to the clinical supervisor and/or charge nurse
  • Provide care utilizing infection control measures that protect both the staff and the patient

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Diploma or Associate School of Nursing
  • Current Texas State license, current Texas Driver's License
  • Two year's experience in a clinical care setting preferred
  • Nursing skills as defined by generally accepted standards of practice
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Reliable transportation and valid and current auto liability insurance

Working Conditions:

  • Works in patients homes in various conditions
  • Proof of current CPR, and Hepatitis consent or declination
  • Possible exposure to blood and bodily fluids and infectious diseases
  • Ability to work flexible schedule
  • Ability to travel locally
  • Some exposure to unpleasant weather

Physical Demands:

  • Standing and walking required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and move patients
