Job Summary:

Soliant is seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in a school-based position. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive educational environment and make a positive impact on students' lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs, utilizing evidence-based practices and industry standards.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that cater to the unique requirements of each student, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with teachers, parents, and other school staff.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language disorders, utilizing a range of techniques and strategies to promote progress and achievement.
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement strategies that support student progress and achievement, ensuring a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided, adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Washington.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience in a school setting is an asset, with a strong understanding of educational policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced educational environment.
