Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee litigation related to employment claims, including FMLA, ADA, discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage disputes.
  • Manage all phases of the litigation process, from drafting legal documents to courtroom representation and trial preparation.
  • Conduct depositions, argue motions, and facilitate arbitrations as necessary.
  • Draft compelling litigation materials, including administrative filings, court documents, and correspondence.
  • Engage in thorough legal research and maintain effective communication with clients and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with fellow attorneys and support staff to ensure timely case management and adherence to deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 3 years of pertinent legal experience, particularly in litigation concerning wrongful termination and discrimination.
  • Proficiency in employment law and familiarity with all aspects of the litigation process, including mediation, trial, and appeals.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to effectively represent clients and negotiate settlements.
  • Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
