RN Med Surg Oncology Position Name: Med-Surg Oncology RN Facility Name: HCA Florida Capital Hospital Shift Details: · Days (Rotating Weekends): 7a-7p · Nights (Rotating Weekends): 7p-7a

We are seeking a dynamic Oncology RN to join our team. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing care and treatment to ill, injured, and recovering adults in our patient-centered care model. You will make clinical assessments of situations and manage treatment autonomously, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation
  • Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team
  • Analyze the assessment data to determine the diagnosis or issues
  • Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient and the situation
  • Act as an advocate for patient safety
  • Ensure effective care and use of time, supplies, and equipment
  • Educate patients regarding their medications, procedure and treatments, providing patients and their families with support throughout their stay
Requirements
  • 1 year of Recent RN experience
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or able to obtain licensure prior to start
  • Current BLS required
  • Current ACLS preferred, required within 6 months of hire
  • BSN is preferred
