About the Job

This is a challenging technical role that involves developing applications to support the City of Everett's GIS and asset management software. The successful candidate will have a strong background in GIS database design, end-user support, application development, user interface development, and software links between GIS, asset management systems, and other application software.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement automated geographic information systems
  • Design and maintain GIS databases
  • Provide end-user support and training
  • Develop and maintain software links between GIS, asset management systems, and other application software
  • Perform complex GIS processing and analysis functions
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in GIS, geography, computer science, or related field
  • Three years of full-time professional-level experience in developing and implementing automated geographic information systems
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
