POSITION SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Electrician will be responsible for:
- Enhancing the performance, efficiency, and safety of equipment through repairs and maintenance.
- Independently executing repairs and maintenance tasks on electrical systems.
- Conducting thorough inspections and maintenance of electrical equipment, while proposing and implementing enhancements to boost reliability and efficiency.
- Troubleshooting and rectifying issues with process instrumentation, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), three-phase circuits, and other control hardware.
QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will have substantial experience as an electrician, showcasing strong problem-solving abilities. Your qualifications should ideally include:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial electrical work or a comparable combination of education and experience.
- A solid commitment to safety protocols.
- In-depth knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and its application regarding transformer operations, electrical circuit design (including three-phase and motor control circuits), and PLC wiring.
- Experience with electric motors, starters, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, D/C circuit analysis, and computer operating systems.
- Availability for day shifts, Monday through Friday, with the flexibility for rotating on-call duties.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, along with the ability to troubleshoot and program electrical and electronic systems, including Allen-Bradley PLCs.
