Police Officer

We are seeking an experienced police officer to join our team at the City of Federal Way, WA. As a police officer, you will be responsible for enforcing laws and maintaining public safety in our community.

The Police Officer - Experienced position is a critical role in our department, requiring a strong understanding of law enforcement principles and practices. You will be responsible for patrolling assigned areas, responding to emergency calls, and providing assistance to the public.

• Enforce laws and regulations to maintain public safety
• Respond to emergency calls and provide assistance to the public
• Patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect crime
• Investigate crimes and gather evidence
• Testify in court as needed

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Successful completion of a basic police academy required
• Minimum of one year of continuous law enforcement employment required
• Valid Washington State driver's license required
• Good driving record required
