Job Summary:

The Town of Barnstable is seeking a Seasonal Parking Resource Officer to join our team. As a key member of our parking management team, you will be responsible for enforcing parking regulations, managing parking facilities, and providing excellent customer service to the public.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enforce parking regulations and issue warnings and citations as necessary
  • Monitor and manage parking facilities, including beaches, villages, and boat ramps
  • Assist in the development and implementation of parking policies and procedures
  • Provide excellent customer service to the public, responding to inquiries and concerns
  • Operate a motor vehicle in a variety of conditions, including night shifts, weekends, and holidays

Requirements:

  • Two years of education above high school (preferred)
  • Valid MA driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • Proficient in the use of smart phones and applications

Compensation:

$20.50 hourly, no benefits
