Job Title: LPN Licensed Practical Nurse PRN Weekend Home Health

Job Summary:
Kendal at Lexington, a premier life plan community, is seeking dedicated and compassionate LPNs (Licensed Practical Nurses) and RNs (Registered Nurses) to join our team on a PRN basis. This role requires flexibility and commitment to provide exceptional care to our residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver direct nursing care in line with individualized care plans and facility standards.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor and assess residents' health conditions, reporting changes to appropriate healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Accurately document patient interactions, care provided, and any incidents.
  • Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers of residents.
  • Respond to emergencies promptly and effectively.
  • Maintain the highest standards of hygiene and safety in all practices.

Requirements:
  • Current, valid LPN or RN license in the state of Virginia.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a nursing role, preferably in senior living or long-term care.
  • Strong clinical assessment skills and knowledge of nursing practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Commitment to picking up at least 2 shifts per month.

Compensation:
  • LPN Pay Rate: $35.36 per hour
  • RN Pay Rate: $44.72 per hour
  • Shift Differentials: $2.00 per hour for evening shifts; $1.00 per hour for night shifts.
