Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Imaging Specialist to join our team at United Musculoskeletal Partners. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality MRI studies in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI scans to produce high-quality diagnostic images
  • Screen patients and others entering the MRI area to ensure a safe environment
  • Send images to our Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS)
  • Enter patient information into our computer system(s)
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • ARRT registration in good standing
  • Experience with GE and Siemens magnets preferred
  • Basic computer skills
  • Excellent patient care skills
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
Work Environment

As an MRI Imaging Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced environment with moderate noise levels. You may be exposed to infectious diseases when interacting with patients and/or family members. You will be required to sit, stand, walk, reach, and talk throughout the day.

Privacy and Security Awareness

As a member of our team, you will be expected to remain aware of our policies, information security policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures for minimizing threats and ensuring the protection of Protected Health Information (PHI). You will be responsible for reporting incidents to your supervisor or directly to our HIPAA leadership.
