We are seeking a skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team at CommQuest Services Inc.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in accounts payable, financial operations, and procurement. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of all accounts payable transactions, including invoice processing, coding, and data entry.
You will also manage vendor relationships, prepare payment batches, and reconcile vendor statements. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and make a real difference in the lives of our clients.
Responsibilities
- Process invoices accurately and efficiently, adhering to company policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively with vendors and subcontractors regarding invoice discrepancies and payment inquiries
- Prepare and process payment batches, including checks and ACH transfers, ensuring compliance with payment terms and deadlines
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies to ensure accurate accounts payable records
Schedule: The work schedule is primarily Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.- 5 p.m. Must have availability to accommodate additional hours as needed and requested by the Supervisor.
Requirements
- Associates Degree required. Extensive experience may be substituted for formal education, minimum 2-3 years.
- Intermediate knowledge of software applications, such as word processing, spreadsheets, and database management.
- Experience with accounting software, preferably Sage Intacct.
- Proficient in keyboarding and proficient in spelling, punctuation, grammar, and oral communication.
Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year
