Hematology Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hematology Supervisor to join our team at Cooley Dickinson Health Care, a member of the Mass General Brigham system. As a Hematology Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising and directing the Hematology Section and the Point of Care Testing program.

• Supervise and direct the Hematology Section and the Point of Care Testing program.
• Assist in problem research and resolution for customer service (physician, medical office and hospital staff primarily) problems in the functional areas of Hematology and point of care testing.
• Provide leadership and guidance to staff members to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient laboratory operations.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of laboratory services and patient care.

• Graduate of an approved, accredited school of professional nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Minimum of one (1) year Medical/Surgical nursing experience required; home care/hospice experience preferred.
• Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills required.
• Demonstrated organizational and time management skills required.
• Current driver's license, a good driving record, and reliable transportation required.
