Job Summary

We are looking for a proficient PLC Integrator with a strong background in industrial robotics and PLC systems to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in establishing and integrating PLC-based control systems tailored for robotic applications, utilizing TwinCAT and ROS to ensure smooth real-time operation and control. This collaborative role involves close interaction with our research team to devise and execute cutting-edge automation solutions that facilitate architectural-scale assembly and additive manufacturing processes. The incumbent will enhance the efficiency, reliability, and safety of our advanced robotic systems.

Key Duties Include:

  • Developing, programming, and configuring automated control systems for robotic assembly and additive manufacturing.
Qualifications:

Essential Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics or related fields such as Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Robot and PLC programmer and integrator, ideally within an industrial automation or robotics setting.
  • Comprehensive understanding of robotic systems, automation technologies, and system integration principles.
  • Expertise in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and debugging PLC systems, with the ability to assess system performance and implement effective corrective measures.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • This position necessitates on-site collaboration with our team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with TwinCAT software and Beckhoff automation technologies.
  • Experience with Robot Operating System (ROS).
  • Knowledge of sensing technologies, computer vision, and perception.
  • Experience in human-robot collaboration.
