Job Summary:

We are seeking a Production Technician to join our team at Summit Sustainable Ingred. As a key member of our production staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our ethanol and distiller's grains production process.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of plant operations, be able to collect and analyze samples, and maintain accurate records. If you are detail-oriented, able to work effectively in a team environment, and possess excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process Management: Monitor plant operations, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  • Sample Collection and Analysis: Collect and analyze product samples to ensure quality and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of production activities, including sample results and equipment maintenance.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate various types of mobile equipment, including hammer mills and slurry tanks.
  • Facility Maintenance: Ensure the plant facility is clean, well-maintained, and meets safety standards.

$55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth. The estimated salary range is based on industry standards for this role in similar locations.
