This position offers differential pay and mileage compensation, with no call required. You will have opportunities for professional growth and development, as well as the chance to enhance your skills in a dynamic work environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Patient Care (75%):
- Administer routine and advanced MRI procedures on designated body parts, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Screen patients before exams for potential health risks or complications.
- Prepare patients for MR procedures, explaining the process and positioning them correctly for optimal results.
- Adjust scan parameters as needed and maintain strong relationships with radiologists, customers, and peers.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals, patients, and family members as required.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and accurately record patient information within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
- Maintain a safe and organized workspace.
- SUPPORTIVE ROLE (20%):
- Maintain equipment in excellent working condition, ensuring proper cleaning and disinfection after each use.
- Collaborate with colleagues to update the MRI protocol manual and implement software upgrades.
- Track and manage medical supply inventory, providing expert guidance for new staff members.
Other Responsibilities (5%): Execute additional tasks as directed by management.
