Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

Aureus Medical Group - Cardiopulmonary is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join their team for a travel assignment in Key West, Florida.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a travel Respiratory Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and develop your skills in a variety of settings.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a variety of conditions, including respiratory failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and pneumonia.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of Florida.
  • Current certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
  • Experience working in a hospital setting, preferably in a critical care unit.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
