Bishop Drumm Retirement Center is seeking a highly skilled MDS Coordinator to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of our resident assessments and care plans.
Key Responsibilities- Resident Assessment and Care Planning: Conduct and coordinate the development and completion of resident assessments (MDS) in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines.
- Accuracy and Timeliness: Ensure accurate and timely completion of the MDS process to meet regulatory requirements.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop individualized resident care plans that meet their unique needs and goals.
- Progress Monitoring: Monitor and document resident progress and responses to care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in the Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) process to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other healthcare providers to coordinate optimal care delivery.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date on MDS regulations and guidelines to ensure compliance and maintain the highest level of care.
- Competitive Pay: Up to $84,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.

- Current RN License: Must hold a current Registered Nurse (RN) license.

- MDS Knowledge: Must have a strong understanding of MDS 3.0, RAI process, and care planning.
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Must possess excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to Work Independently and Collaboratively: Must be able to work independently and collaboratively within a team to achieve optimal outcomes.
