Job Summary
We're seeking an Assistant Manager to join our team at Madewell. As a key member of our leadership team, you'll be responsible for supporting a profitable business by creating genuine connections with customers, driving sales, and fostering a positive work environment. You'll work closely with your team to achieve sales goals, provide coaching and feedback, and make adjustments to drive business forward.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and customer engagement
- Lead by example, demonstrating a passion for customer service and a commitment to excellence
- Provide coaching and feedback to team members to help them achieve their full potential
- Partner with the leadership team to make adjustments to drive business forward
- Ensure a positive and inclusive work environment that values diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity to inform business decisions
About You
We're looking for someone who is passionate about fashion, customer service, and leadership. You'll be a strong communicator, a team player, and a problem solver. You'll have a track record of achieving sales goals and a commitment to excellence. You'll be available to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
What We Offer

Hourly Range: $19.50 - $29.00
At Madewell, we're committed to paying competitively for our company's size and industry. The base salary offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region of work premises, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
