About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team at Raytheon, where you will play a critical role in designing and developing RF products. Your expertise in RF design and fabrication, test and troubleshoot, and simulation of RF products will be invaluable to our team.

Job Description

This is an onsite role located in Tucson, AZ. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing and developing transmitters, receivers, or exciters
  • Circuit card assembly (CCA) design with RF or mixed signals
  • Component characterization and module verification and integration in a lab setting
  • Test and handling of sensitive RF hardware
  • Schematic capture and RF routing
  • Partnering with interdisciplinary teams - power, digital, mechanical, etc.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
  • A minimum of five years of prior relevant experience in RF design and fabrication, test and troubleshoot, or simulation of RF products
  • Experience with tools like Mentor DX Designer, High Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS), SystemVue/Genesys, Advanced Design System (ADS)
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
