Certified Home Caregiver

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Certified Home Caregiver to join our team at Summit Home Care New York. As a home health aide, you will have the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.
This is a full-time, part-time, or per diem position, offering a competitive salary of around $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes daily access to pay, steady case availability, flexible schedules, and more.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing daily personal care, such as bathing, grooming, and oral care
- Assisting with daily living activities, as outlined in the Plan of Care
- Monitoring patients and reporting on their condition
- Helping patients with meal preparation and feeding, as well as basic housekeeping functions
To succeed in this role, you must have a New York State Home Health Aide Certificate, government-issued ID, Social Security Card, and work authorization (if needed). You will also need to provide 2 reference letters, recent physical, TB screening, flu shot, rubella & rubeola titer lab work, and a chain of custody drug screen no older than 6 months.
