As a Production Supervisor, you will lead the daily operation of a production shift, interacting with various departments to achieve maximum quality and cost effectiveness. Your scope of ownership will include multiple manufacturing processes, ensuring timely and efficient completion of manufacturing schedules. Success in this role is defined by daily order execution, workforce flexibility, employee onboarding, productivity/efficiency, sequencing, process adherence, and training/development in production. Key responsibilities include directing the department, supervising production employees, and providing manufacturing information. You will also assure adherence to company policies and procedures, complete safety and productivity reports, and select, coach, and develop staff. As a key member of our lean manufacturing environment, you will drive continuous improvement activities relating to safety, quality, productivity, delivery, and inventory. Additionally, you will interview, select, and coordinate orientation activities for new employees, maintain a clean and orderly work environment, and manage parts flow. Effective communication skills and conflict resolution are essential for this role. Minimum qualifications include an Associate's degree or equivalent experience, with 2 years of experience leading teams, developing people, or organizing tasks. Preferred qualifications include previous experience using SAP or equivalent ERP system and Microsoft Office. Knowledge, skills, and abilities include relationship building, accountability, active listening, and conflict management.
