Job Summary:
MV Transportation is seeking a highly skilled Safety Instructor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive training programs to new and veteran operators, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide safe and efficient transportation services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement training programs that meet corporate and client specifications
- Provide classroom and behind-the-wheel instruction on vehicle operation, defensive driving, and passenger safety
- Conduct regular audits of employee training files and vehicle maintenance records
- Establish relationships with key client agency personnel to identify additional training needs
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations and related corporate policies
Requirements:
- Three (3) years of full-time experience as a Bus Operator or employment with comparable agency with transit experience
- Previous passenger transportation experience in a similar environment
- Excellent safety and service record
- High School diploma and/or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
