Job Summary

We're seeking a Senior Tax Associate to join our Private Client Services practice in a hybrid capacity through our Boca Raton office. As a hybrid firm, most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered hybrid, meaning team members are expected to alternate time between both remote and office work.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare trust, personal, partnership, and S Corp tax returns that don't require advanced expertise.
  • Prepare amended tax returns that don't require advanced expertise.
  • Respond to tax notices and draft initial correspondence as needed.
  • Work on client matters while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Train and supervise entry-level associates.
  • Develop quality client relationships and loyalty.
  • Assume responsibility for completing engagements assigned.
  • Comply with all professional standards and ethics.
  • Develop new client contacts and relationships beneficial to the Firm.
  • Meet established deadlines and ensure adequate time for manager/partner review processes.
  • Achieve efficiency as measured by actual hours vs. budgeted hours per engagement.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of work experience in another public accounting firm.
  • PCS experience required.
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • CPA or Enrolled Agent licensure achieved or eligible to sit for the exam.
  • Strong experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of tax software such as CCH Axcess.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
